A big thank you goes out to our sponsors, our driver "Muffler Mike", and to Art for coming out to race us on such short notice, all of whom without their support, we would have not been able to complete this build in record time and get it to the track for the filming of the pilot episode of Rich Christensen's Blow It Up for the Speed Channel! Jake Raby, President, Raby Enterprises Inc. Be sure to tune in on Sunday, July 22nd to see Aircooled Technology and Aircooled Engineering go head to head. News from Cordova Dragway Park about "Blow It Up"

SPEED CHANNEL and LAUNCH HOUR ARE GOING TO “BLOW IT UP” AT CORDOVA DRAGWAY PARK. Cordova Dragway Park announced today that Speed Channel in association with Rich Christensen Presents, the energetic host and producer of the popular show “Pinks”, will be at CDP Tuesday and Wednesday, May 1st and 2nd 2007, to film episodes for a new show coming this summer called “Blow It Up”. The show, “Blow It Up”, will be part of a new series for Speed called “Launch Hour”, that will also include the shows “Drag Race High”, “Know It Hauls”, “Quick 8”, “Speed Records”, and “DB4”.

“Blow It Up” will feature speedshop entries from around the U.S. in an 1/8th mile, Heads-Up, Hot Lap, format until one competitor cannot “make the call” or “blows it up”. All entries will be 500 h.p., full bodied cars, ran on gas, with a power adder. (NOS, turbocharger, supercharger, etc.)

“I’ve had people tell me during “Pinks” they can build a car that won’t fail” said Rich Christensen, “Well now it’s time to put up or shut up. I don’t care if it takes 4 laps or 24 laps, someone is going BOOM!, just like “Famous Nate” used to say, “We’re pushing pistons through the hood”. “

Clay Millican, 5 time IHRA Top Fuel World Champion and current NHRA racer will be the host of “Blow It Up”. “I’m thrilled to host the show and return to Cordova,” said Millican, “I’m still the National and Track record holder there at 326 mph. and I get to see cars “Blow It Up”, how cool is that?”

The public is invited to attend the taping of the shows free of charge both days beginning at 9am. For more information on “Blow It Up” or any of the new shows coming to “Launch Hour”, go to www.launchhour.tv.
